I'm not a food blogger but dammit I like food, so lets just do this my way. I recently spent an evening grubbing and laughing at Picazzo with some of my closest friends. Picazzo, located at The Hub on the first floor overlooking a garden and miniature lake, is a lovely Spanish restaurant that married three different dining styles: Tapas bar, tapas restaurant, and fine dining, making it impossible to not find something everyone. And the fact that we were 5 foodies read to eat, meant that we each ordered different appetizers, mains and dessert, pick off each others plate and basically taste more that 80% of the menu……..like bosses.

6. It was a Saturday evening and we were at a Spanish restaurant... of course we had to start with a Sangria....My choice was the white Sangria....light sweet and simple.

&. As we patienctly waited for our starters this little piggy rolled up at the table next to us. No, this was not our dinner but I couldn't resist taking a photo.... lets just say, this little piggy never made it to the market .... oik oik.... opps was that kinda rude? lol ps... Anyone can order the full pig. you just need to ask for it in advance.

11. The first of our starters. The Broccoli and blue cheese soup. My honest opinion? The broccoli soup was delicious, creamy, rich, thick perfection. But once Jayson and my cousin Ciruma added the blue cheese, I was out. I know that they loved it but blue cheese and I are just not that cool. But if you love some blue cheese, honey go right ahead and add it in. if not, ask for the soup with the blue cheese on the side

13. The pork belly was surprisingly good. I'm generally not a fan of pork and I loath fatty meats. But these were pretty good. Especially with the spicy mango ali-oli.

32. The Mille Feuille chocolate. I call this "The Grown and Sexy" dessert. For those who like it when their desserts are not too sweet. The chocolate and coffee give it that grown and sexy taste.
